Adding Salary Structures
Payroll structures facilitate the process of creating a contract, allowing you to customize payroll templates for a specific group of employees, employment level, or specific department. You can also set up salary components, whether they are earnings or deductions, to be automatically filled when creating a new contract by selecting a specific payroll structure, with the ability to make modifications as needed.
- Note: Before getting started, make sure to activate the Payroll app in your account.
Creating a New Salary Structure
- From the main menu, click on “Payroll“.
- Click on “Salary Structures“.
- Click the “New Salary Structure” button.
- Enter the salary structure information as follows:
- Name: Enter the name of the salary structure as required.
- Status: Select the status of the salary template from the dropdown, whether active or inactive.
- Payroll Frequency: Choose the payroll cycle from the dropdown (e.g., Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly).
- Description: Write a description of the salary template in the dialog box as needed.
- Under the “Earnings” section, enter earnings items. For more details, you can refer to the “Salary Components” guide.
- Under the “Deductions” section, enter deduction items. For more details, you can refer to the “Salary Components” guide.
- Click the “Save” button.
