Sending an SMS with an invoice

To send an invoice via a text message, you must first ensure that the SMS application is activated and create a Short Message Service (SMS) template. For more details, please refer to the “SMS Application Settings” guide and the “Adding an SMS Template” guide.

  1. From the main menu, click on “Sales.”
  2. Click on “Invoice Management.”
  3. Click on the invoice you want to send as a text message.
  4. Click on the “Send SMS” button located above the invoice details.
  5. From the dropdown menu at the top left of the screen, select the desired SMS template to use for sending the text message.
    • For more details on how to add an SMS template for an invoice, refer to the “Adding an SMS Template” guide.
  6. In the “To” field, add/edit the client’s mobile phone number.
    • The system will automatically include the Client’s phone number associated with the invoice in the “To” field. For more details, refer to the “Adding a New Client” guide.
  7. In the “Messages” field, edit your message or write it as needed, using placeholders to customize it further for your customer.
  8. Click the “Send” button.
  • The system will open a new screen that includes the message’s status, details, and whether any errors occurred during sending.
  • Note: The “Send SMS” button will not appear on the invoice display screen unless a mobile phone number is included in the customer’s profile.
